Job description

Our client is a globally recognised ship management organisation providing technical, operational, and crew management services across an international fleet. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Vessel Manager to join their Miami office and support cruise vessel operations.

We are recruiting for a Vessel Manager – Cruise Operations based in Miami. This role will be responsible for the technical management of assigned cruise vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across maintenance, dry dockings, budgeting, inspections, and hotel systems.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to vessel teams, manage planned maintenance and repair projects, oversee OPEX and CAPEX budgets, coordinate regulatory compliance, and maintain strong client communication.

The requirements for this role are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline
• Chief Engineer Class 1 licence highly desirable
• Minimum 3 years’ shore-based Technical Superintendent or Vessel Manager experience
• Strong cruise vessel technical knowledge including hotel systems and planned maintenance
