Job summary

DuPont seeks an experienced Application Development Engineer to drive growth in aerospace and defense applications. You will lead technical programs, collaborate across engineering and operations, and support customers with material and design recommendations.

The role involves travel, remote work flexibility, and contributing to new product commercialization with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical/aerospace/materials or related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• 10+ years aerospace engineering experience with defense applications.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical programs and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and material recommendations to aerospace customers and internal teams.
• Lead technical programs, qualification activities, and new applications for growth.
• Deliver technical seminars and presentations to distributors and customers.
• Coordinate product evaluations, data generation, and lab-based testing.
• Develop value-in-use materials, sales tools, and technical literature.
