Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field at a technology integrator, OEM, or energy and utilities client.
- Architectural and technical experience with applications, Infrastructure, Cyber, Cloud, and Networking, Data Center, and End-User Experience solutions.
- Strong application development technology and application architecture history and understanding of current trends and migration strategies.
- Deep skills and knowledge as an SME in 2 or more critical parts of infrastructure.
- Industry-level certifications including CCIE, CISSP, CDP, MCSE AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience calling on and deploying technology solutions in a sales environment in Fortune 500 settings, interacting with Tech and IT leadership.
- Architectural training and or experience in common methodologies including TOGAF UAM and others.
- Familiarity with Big Data, AI, Automation end-user experience and service management technologies along with cloud technologies including containers, Kubernetes, cloud native services, storage, networking and commercial models at a high level.
- Strong presentation skills, able to learn tech spaces at extreme pace at times.
- Strong relationships within energy and utilities space and tech supply chain (OEM).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Interacting with clients and prospects to gain trusted advisor status in the context of WWT's portfolio and business value.
- Creating plans and strategies in concert with account team and WWT internal teams to present and educate the prospect and client base on our OEM and services portfolio.
- Driving gross profit and opportunities by proactively and reactively proposing solution designs and architectures.
- Focusing on ATC Lab Engagements and AI Proving Ground as a catalyst to gain business and mindshare from clients and prospects.
- Owning critical OEM engagements in the assigned client area, including energy and utilities partners where applicable, and positioning WWT’s value to OEMs; particularly focused on AI, cyber, and software.
- Gaining trust by meeting virtually and in person with IT, LOB, Security, and other key resources in a planned cadence with objectives for educating and discovering need.
- Coordinating all necessary WWT resources and stakeholders including GS&A, SC&E, Services, Sales, Executives and others to drive campaigns and value that result in winning large and strategic business.
- Creating a personal development plan and staying current with vertical trends, technology, and use cases, and executing it with management reporting and assistance.
