WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Strategic Leadership
  • Be our global / international Datacenter and Communications industry expert with a solid understanding of how solutions come to market, the challenges faced by customers, marketplace and technology trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Find opportunities (products, services, footprint, route to market, etc) to fuel growth
  • Investigate and recommend potential cross-platform, M&A and partnership opportunities
  • Convert market insights into strategy; coordinate the development and implementation of our Go-To-Market and strategic plans
  • Drive global and cross-functional teams to complete growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify prospective and penetration accounts, then create targeted plans and sales enablement tools for both.
  • Establish benchmarks for success; regularly communicate progress and results to key partners
Product Planning
  • Conduct market research, Voice of Customer (VoC) and competitive assessments. Synthesize results and communicate key findings to other key partners. Guide product management to develop innovative, market-leading solutions.
  • Lead all marketing aspects associated with the product definition, positioning, pricing, market introduction, sales tools, and promotion plans within the vertical market.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to support internal team, field sales, distributors and end users.
Market Awareness and Demand Generation
  • Work within the existing digital framework (website, social media, marketing automation, etc) to create impactful, targeted and effective marketing campaigns aimed at increases awareness and drive demand for our solutions.
  • Clearly and quantitatively communicate our value proposition and how our solutions differ from others in the market.
  • Have a deep understanding of the buyer's journey so that we may provide the right content at the right time. Collaborate with Business Communications for successful execution of content strategy.
  • Manage the budget allocated to support growth initiatives, track results and optimize investments.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing required. MBA preferred.
  • Datacenter industry experience required.
  • 5+ years of Product Marketing, Product Management or related experience required.
  • Assertive, facilitative, & positive self-starter with a strong accountability for performance.
  • Excellence in segmentation, market research gathering and critical thinking.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to concisely frame data in ways appropriate to different level of the organization.
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret and draw meaningful and accurate conclusions from data.
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional and multi-regional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and prioritize based on business value.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, domestic and internationally.
