Job summary

Form-Up Foundations is seeking a Foreman (Vertical Formwork) for full-time work in the field. The candidate will read blueprints, supervise carpenters and laborers, and oversee concrete forming, pumping coordination, and daily reporting to Operations Manager.

The role requires DOT/OSHA considerations and a strong focus on safety, quality control, and timely project delivery on site in New England. Excellent stamina and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read plans (blueprints/building drawings).
• Extensive knowledge of power tools used on site.
• Proven experience tying rebar, forming footings & walls, placing & finishing concrete.
• Capable of climbing ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of project field operations from beginning to end.
• Oversees and delegates to carpenters and laborers.
• Reviews scope of work and field use drawings with Project & Operations Managers prior to project start.
• Coordinates concrete pumping as required.
• Prepares and submits daily reports.
• Communicates and coordinates manpower needs directly with Operations Manager.
• Responsible for overseeing jobsite safety and site specific rules.
• Performs quality control during each placement.
• Attends scheduled foreman meetings and job site meetings as needed.
• Responsible for maintenance of company tools and trucks.
