Enprotech is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication team in Michigan. The role focuses on welding metal components, fabricating parts, and repairing machinery using stick, TIG, and MIG processes. Candidates should read blueprints and use precision gauges to ensure quality.

The position requires ability to operate overhead cranes, perform pre-heat, and work in various welding positions with strict safety standards. Team collaboration and pestimate accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and BOMs.
• Experience welding with stick, TIG, and MIG in manufacturing.
• May operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers for quality checks.

Responsabilités

• Welds metal components using gas welding or brazing and arc welding.
• Performs thermal cutting and grinding as needed.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts and welds overlays.
• Locates cracks using NDT methods and repairs.
• Sets up components for weld repairs and fabrication.
• Welds in flat, vertical, or overhead positions and adjusts parameters to achieve weld quality.
• Inspects joints and ensures conformity to specs with precision tools.
