Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Previous forklift experience.
• Spray painting experience in an auto body shop.
• Must reside within Syracuse, NY area (50 miles).

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare iron and aluminum castings and sheet metal parts for painting or assembly.
• Apply powder or spray paint to parts to obtain primer or finish coats.
• Operate forklift truck and hoist to move parts between processes.
• Maintain logs, checklists, test records and process documentation.
• Perform simple chemical tests and maintain proper PH levels.
• Follow safety regulations and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Administer 5S and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
