Job summary

Williams Distributing Co. and Shoemaker Inc., part of Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc., is seeking a warehouse/delivery associate in Michigan. You will load/unload materials, stock inventory, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.

The role requires basic warehouse tech and a clean driving record. You will maintain inventory accuracy, assist customers and staff with orders, and back up local deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• DOT screening annually.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the past 3 years.
• DMV record cannot reflect more than 2 moving violations or preventable accidents in 3 years.
• Placement as driver contingent on DOT road test, pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load/unload and transfer materials.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Complete will calls and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety through daily inspections and housekeeping.
