Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a distribution center associate who works across multiple departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility and support staging for customer deliveries.

The role emphasizes accuracy in checking packing lists, inspecting stock, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while performing inventory control as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; specialized training/certification may be required.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Uses packing list information to collect items for customer orders and builds/wraps pallets.
• Inspects stock items for wear/defects and notifies management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment per safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
