Qualifications

• Background clearance requires fingerprinting and a criminal records check.
• 72 credit hours of post-high school studies, an earned Associate's Degree or higher, or passing the National Career Readiness test is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with school-age students is preferred but not required.
• Core competencies include following directions, maintaining a dependable and flexible schedule, and strong adaptability.
• Annual mandatory training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one student assistance or small-group support within Special Education or general education classrooms.
• Supervise students during recess, in the classroom, and in common areas to maintain safety and structure.
• Perform duties across Kindergarten through 12th grade, adapting to changing daily tasks.
• Collaborate harmoniously with teachers, students, administrators, and other district staff.
