Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child development.
• Understanding of inclusion practices in ECE.
• Ability to assess and support in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of de-escalation strategies for high-need scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Responds to school requests for focused support in high-need situations.
• Provides individual support aligned with child goals and supervisor plans.
• Supports daily activities including indoor/outdoor time, meals, and transitions.
• Monitors interactions to prevent or address behavioral concerns.
• Willing to support all Head Start locations: Salem, Woodburn, Dallas, Independence, Jefferson, Stayton.
