The Save Mart Companies in Fresno, CA is hiring a Multi-Purpose Clerk to support guests across multiple departments, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, Janitorial, Valley Fresh, and Restaurant. You will promote sales, assist guests with product questions, and process special orders while maintaining product freshness and store standards.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Six months of grocery retail related experience.
• Excellent guest service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the check stand according to company policy and procedures; memorize PLU codes and manage POS and inventory.
• Receive, inspect, log, stock, rotate, and merchandise product to maintain freshness and department appeal.
• Provide guest service at counters; take special orders for items like custom cuts or cakes; may operate equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; ensure areas and equipment are clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
