Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a light industrial worker / cross-trained production support specialist to join a pool of short-term mandates across assembly, manufacturing, and distribution. This role offers variety and flexibility while you build new skills in different industrial environments.

Typical duties include production assembly, quality checks, packaging and labeling, inventory staging, and adapting to new procedures across different shifts.

Qualifications

• Inspect quality and defects of products.
• Visually inspect for accuracy of components.
• Inspect material supplies and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Production assembly: perform repetitive light assembly tasks or machine tending duties on production lines.
• Quality checks: conduct visual quality inspections on finished components, removing and reporting any defective items.
• Packaging and labeling: accurately pack products into cartons, apply correct shipping labels, and prepare pallets for movement.
• Inventory staging: assist with staging materials, ensuring production lines are constantly stocked with necessary components.
• Skill adaptability: quickly learn new procedures and adapt to different roles within the light industrial setting during each mandate.
