Job summary

International Gamco, Inc. in Omaha is seeking an Advanced Production Associate to help keep materials, products and production processes moving across multiple areas.

You will support production equipment, packaging, inventory movement and shipping while learning new processes and staying adaptable. You will work with team members to meet schedules and safety standards, cross-train across functions and contribute to quality control and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse or related fields.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy.
• Comfort handling materials and inventory activities.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and scanners.
• Read and follow English instructions.
• Willingness to cross-train across functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support production, packaging and material-handling equipment used throughout the manufacturing and distribution process.
• Load, unload, move, stage and organize raw materials, work-in-progress inventory and finished products to support production needs.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, material tracking and product movement while helping maintain accurate inventory.
• Inspect products, packaging, labels, serial numbers and quantities to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality and customer requirements.
• Assemble cartons, prepare packaging materials, package and label finished products and prepare completed orders for shipment.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, scanners and other material-handling equipment.
• Support production workflow by ensuring materials and products are available where and when they are needed.
• Crossstrain across production, packaging, inventory, shipping/receiving and material-handling functions based on operational needs.
• Work closely with Operators, Leads, Supervisors and other team members to meet production schedules and daily operational goals.
• Identify and support opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, material flow and overall efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas while following established procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Other duties as required.
