Job summary

Nebraska Corn Processing, LLC is seeking a General Laborer for the Cambridge, NE plant. The role supports all areas of the facility, fills in for shifts, and assists with cleanup projects and corn pile management.

Responsibilities include aiding operators and materials handlers, assisting maintenance, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with all departments to ensure smooth plant operation and production quality.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent.
• Post-secondary education or technical certificate preferred.
• Knowledge of ethanol production process and technology preferred.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong safety and quality compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform Operator duties during times of absence of an operator, or any other times as directed.
• Perform Material Handler duties during times of absence of a Material Handler, or any other times as directed.
• Manage the corn piles throughout the year.
• Assist maintenance technicians with special projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment across the facility.
• Communicate regularly with personnel to ensure efficient plant operation.
• Assist all employees and departments as required for efficient plant operation.
• Provide a customer service attitude with internal and external customers while achieving production and quality standards.
• Abide by all safety, health, environmental and food/feed safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
