Acelero Learning Wisconsin - Racine NGN Center is seeking a Floater Assistant Teacher for Fall 2026. You will support a Head Start classroom of 3-5 year-olds, collaborating with the Preschool Teacher to maintain a nurturing, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills
• Passion to work with children
• CDA or enrolled to complete within 2 years, or a degree in any field or enrollment in a program leading to such degree

Responsibilities

• Maintain a child-centered curriculum and learning environment encouraging positive social interaction and engagement for children of all abilities
• Address challenging behaviors by observing causes, teaching social/communication skills, and partnering with families
• Document children’s progress using observations and anecdotal notes to individualize curriculum
