Job summary

The Saint Alphonsus Medical Group is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant for our Clinical Support Team as a Float. MAs work across multiple clinics from Boise to Ontario, OR, gaining exposure to varied specialties and services while supporting efficient patient flow under RN and physician leadership.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and MA certification within 90 days of hire; certifications from CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, CMAC, NPCE MA are accepted.Experience or schooling in MA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• MA certification within 90 days of hire from approved Saint Alphonsus agencies.
• Certifications: CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, CMAC, NPCE MA or equivalent.
• New graduates: MA certificate or externship/MA experience accepted.
• MA experience or schooling required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to promote a positive patient care experience with compassion and kindness.
• Perform duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice as clinics’ needs.
• Support and work under supervision of Physicians or APP; clinical oversight by RN Supervisor or SAMG Nursing Administration.
• Support efficient clinic flow with Providers, Clinical Support and Front Office staff; communicate clearly with the team.
