Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking 2 Registered Nurse Med-Surg Float for a 13-week contract in Hickory, NC. You will float across Med-Surg departments, covering 7 PM–7 AM shifts in a 3x12 or 4x12 schedule, with weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include adult and geriatric care, assessments, meds, IVs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. NC license, BLS, and at least 1 year med-surg experience required; charge experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NC state or compact RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year med-surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med-Surg.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
• Manage IVs, blood products, and various nursing interventions.
• Document care and maintain accurate records.
