Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a team member to fill in for absent workers, train others, and perform assigned line duties in a cold, wet animal-processing environment. The role requires basic math skills and the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. You will operate safely under company policies and animal welfare guidelines.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and work with PPE as required in a high-noise production setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and perform work when the regular worker is absent.
• Distribute knives before shift, swap during shift, and collect at end of shift.
• Set up assigned lines with stands and ice.
• Train/cross-train incoming or current workers on new skills as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area around the line.
• Follow company policies, animal welfare guidelines, and laws.
