Job summary

ReadyOne Industries is seeking a General Operator to perform a variety of non-sewing machine operations, manual production tasks, and hand-tool work. You will follow approved instructions to press, cut, measure, inspect, and package components, while maintaining traceability and quality standards.

This on-site role requires basic counting, documentation, and computer literacy, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred, but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn safe operation of non-sewing machines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and quality standards.
• Basic counting, measuring, documentation, and computer literacy for production records.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned manual production operations including marking, kit formation, cut-apart work, turning and picking.
• Operate non-sewing machines and hand tools following training and safety rules.
• Review work instructions and quality requirements before starting tasks.
• Load, position, and move materials to prevent damage or contamination.
• Complete counts, labels, and basic system entries; maintain traceability.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Team Leads, supervisors, and quality personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
