Job summary

Legacy Ranch in Midland, TX is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Staff to keep the community safe and well-maintained. This role reports to the Director of Maintenance and involves basic repairs to buildings and grounds, safety compliance, and responding to work orders.

Qualified candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, 2 years of related trade experience (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical and the tools associated with them.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
• Performs typical maintenance support to the entire facility
• Detects and reports questionable conditions to the Director of Maintenance
• Maintains and repairs walls, furniture, cabinets, windows, and door/locks
• Stocks maintenance supplies for work areas
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
• Responds to emergencies in an appropriate manner as per training received
• Perform other duties as assigned
