Job summary

Cascades at Orchard Park in Orem, UT is actively looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician. This role collaborates with staff to keep equipment and facilities in safe, efficient condition to support resident care.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements across kitchen, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, electrical, painting, and grounds equipment, plus handling freight and moving heavy items. Prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months prior commercial/industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Some commercial flooring maintenance experience preferred.
• Use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, safety, and sanitation

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements across multiple systems.
• Inspect equipment and systems for proper function and safety.
• Handle incoming and outgoing freight, lift/move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Support grounds maintenance and general facility upkeep.
