Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a General Machine Operator to support Production and Packaging operations. You will perform a variety of tasks, operate equipment, and follow safety and quality procedures.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and work in a team. You may train on multiple machines and adapt to changing priorities; overtime may be required to cover absenteeism and Fresh Pack needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience acceptable.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and follow directions in a production setting.
• Flexible for shift assignments and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and carry out basic instructions while performing manual tasks.
• Use basic math, writing, and reading skills for required paperwork and projects.
• Maintain good communication and work well with others.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment as needed in production/packing.
• Keep work area and equipment clean and organized; assist with changeovers.
• Work 45-60 hours per week with possible overtime for absenteeism and Fresh Pack needs.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards for the position.
