Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician at our Trey facility in West Chester, OH. The role focuses on safe operation and reliability via troubleshooting and preventive/corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities include maintaining industrial machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to floor calls with urgency. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and the ability to read schematics are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting electric motors up to 480V and electrical components.
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, fluid, steam, and pneumatics.
• Ability reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform routine scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Respond to unscheduled floor calls and perform repairs with urgency.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and leadership.
• Inspect and analyze mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Adhere to plant safety guidelines and wear PPE.
• Work any shift, holiday, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Problem-solve with team to address challenging issues.
