Job summary

Advantage Business Services is seeking a reliable Handyman to perform repair and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial properties in Ventura County, CA. This hands-on role requires basic carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor electrical/plumbing work, with the ability to work independently.

The position offers flexible employment options (Full-Time or Part-Time), a steady workflow across Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara Counties, and a driver with a clean record is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic carpentry and repair skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks (drywall, painting, minor electrical/plumbing).
• Valid California driver's license with clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman work including carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic electrical and plumbing
• Complete repairs and small remodel projects
• Install fixtures, doors, appliances, and finish materials
• Travel to job sites and complete assigned work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
