Job summary

Suntree Country Club, Inc. is seeking a Cross-Trained Golf Course Specialist to support Golf Course Maintenance. This role develops versatility by rotating through Greensperson, Lead, Assistant Horticulturist, and Spray Technician duties on a busy Florida course.

Expect daily outdoor work on Fri–Mon hours, with a focus on maintaining exceptional playing conditions, safety, and teamwork across maintenance crews. Florida pesticide license prep may be encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous golf course maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily golf course maintenance including mowing, edging, bunker maintenance, course setup, debris removal, and irrigation repairs.
• Operate and maintain a variety of golf course equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor turf conditions and report issues related to irrigation, pests, disease, drainage, or equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety policies, environmental regulations, and operating procedures.
• Cross-trained to perform Greensperson, Lead, Assistant Horticulturist, and Spray Technician duties.
