Our client, a full-service law firm in Freehold, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its general practice. The role covers corporate transactional work, community association matters, and collections, with opportunities to handle diverse matters.

Ideal candidates have a JD, NJ bar status or in process, 3–5 years of experience, and strong research and writing skills. Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw is required. Join a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• New Jersey Bar admission required or pending.
• 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in a general practice.
• Experience or interest in corporate, community association, collections, litigation, estate planning, family law, immigration, or personal injury.
• Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw across multiple practice areas.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and memoranda.
• Assist with case preparation, discovery, evidence organization, and trial preparation.
• Support attorneys with client consultations and provide legal guidance under supervision as needed.
• Assist with negotiations, settlements, and communication between clients and opposing parties.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Assist with legal administrative tasks and stay current on applicable laws and regulations.
