Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield is seeking an experienced Float Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across multiple units as part of a float pool. You will lead the nursing process, coordinate care, delegate tasks, and keep patients and families informed while maintaining documentation and teaching.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with Michigan RN licensure and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to plan effective nursing care.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services and communicate with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care across multiple units as part of the float pool.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
