Job summary

Henry Ford Health Providence Southfield is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac ICU team. In this role you will provide leadership across clinical settings, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for cardiology and post-surgical patients.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document care, and educate patients and families while maintaining safety and high-quality outcomes. BSN preferred and Michigan RN license required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
