D&S Dental Laboratory is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined General Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities, equipment, and property operating safely and efficiently. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in finding practical solutions.

No two days are the same; you may repair equipment, replace lighting, fix a door, coordinate HVAC repairs, build shelving, or help maintain landscaping.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, equipment repair, mechanical work, or a related trade.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely using ladders and hand/power tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10% a month) between Wisconsin locations.

Responsibilities

• Performing general building repairs and preventative maintenance to support safe and efficient facility operations
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, and hand tools to ensure reliable performance
• Completing basic repairs and upkeep across building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry needs
• Inspecting and maintaining facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify and address safety concerns
• Managing maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment inventory in an organized and efficient manner
