Job summary

Encoder Products Company seeks a Building Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on buildings, vehicles, and equipment. You will coordinate with vendors and maintain safe, orderly facilities for staff, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities include grounds care, snow removal, and ensuring emergency access. A valid driver's license, ability to pass a background check, and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• General building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and grounds upkeep basics.
• Identify maintenance issues and apply effective repairs.
• Understand workplace safety and proper equipment use.
• Operate forklifts or learn to operate safely with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, and minor electrical work.
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on buildings, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for work outside the role's scope.
• Maintain grounds, parking areas, sidewalks, and landscaping.
