Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent guest service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Capable of being proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.
• High School Diploma (or GED) or additional job experience.
• Six months of grocery retail related experience.

Responsibilities

• Center Store/Front End: Operate the check stand, memorize PLU codes, stock and rotate shelves, and handle POS and inventory tasks.
• Produce: Inspect, log products, trim/wash, stock, rotate, and maintain freshness and department appeal.
• Meat/Seafood: Inspect and log products, wrap/label, stock and assist guests at the counter, special orders.
• Bakery/Deli: Receive/log products, weigh/package, label, stock and merchandize; take special orders.
• Janitorial: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store and departments.
