The Save Mart Companies in Napa, CA is hiring a Multi-Purpose Clerk - Deli to join a motivated team focused on guest experience. You will support multiple departments and promote sales while ensuring food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include stocking, handling customer requests, and maintaining department standards. Must be 18+, with strong guest service and reliability; lifting up to 40 lbs may be required.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent guest service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Capable of being proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job.
• Education: High School Diploma (or GED) or additional job experience.
• Six months of grocery retail related experience are preferred.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be at least 18 years of age.
• Physical: standing and other movements; lifting up to 40 lbs. can be required.

Responsabilidades

• Center Store/Front End – operate check stand; manage PLU codes; stock and rotate product; handle POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – inspect, log, trim, wash, wrap; stock and rotate; maintain freshness and department appeal; handle special orders.
• Meat/Seafood – inspect, weigh, wrap; stock and rotate; assist guests at seafood counter; take special orders; may operate slicers.
• Bakery/Deli – inspect, log; weigh, package; stock and rotate; handle special orders; operate ovens and mixers.
• Janitorial – maintain cleanliness; sweep/mop; clean restrooms and equipment.
• Valley Fresh – inspect and log produce; cut, trim, wash, package; maintain freshness.
• Restaurant – take guest orders; serve; maintain restaurant cleanliness.
