Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 1+ years of civil litigation experience (probate/estate planning and/or small business a plus).
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication.

• Ability to manage an active caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle a civil litigation caseload from intake through resolution — drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing for depositions, and appearing in court.
• Advise and represent small business clients on contracts, disputes, and general business matters.
• Assist clients with probate administration and contested estate matters.
• Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments.
• Conduct thorough legal research and produce clear, well-reasoned written work products.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex, multi-issue matters.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing timely updates and sound legal guidance.
• Manage deadlines and competing priorities across an active docket.
