Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a licensed attorney for an in‑office, full‑time role in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. You will manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from intake through resolution and counsel clients throughout the litigation process.

You will conduct legal research, draft pleadings, take depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and collaborate with a team to achieve outstanding client outcomes while developing trial advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Bar license in good standing.
• Personal injury experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Self-motivated with an ownership mentality.
• Desire to build courtroom and trial experience.
• Ability to work effectively in an in‑office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
• Counsel clients throughout the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve outstanding client outcomes.
• Develop trial advocacy skills through hands‑on litigation experience.
• Handle matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, and related personal injury claims.
