Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Versa Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Versa SD-WAN solutions across a distributed enterprise. You will ensure secure, reliable connectivity and optimize performance across locations.

The role requires expertise in WAN optimization, network security, and cloud networking, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis. Secret clearance and HS diploma or GED are required.

Position: Versa Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our network engineering team. In this role, you'll be designing, implementing, and maintaining Versa Networks SD-WAN solutions. This will ensure secure, reliable, and optimized network connectivity across our distributed enterprise environment.

You Have

• Experience with WAN optimization, application performance monitoring, and network security
• Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP, IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies
• Knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid cloud architectures, and integration with public cloud providers
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have

• Experience with Versa Networks SD-WAN platforms in enterprise or large-scale environments
• Experience with automation tools and scripting for network configuration such as Python and Ansible
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Nagios
• Knowledge of other SD WAN platforms
• Knowledge of ITIL and change management processes

Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
