Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity is seeking a Veritas NetBackup Administrator to join the CESO effort. This onsite role in Arlington, VA requires an active TS/SCI clearance and will support a secure, automated platform for a growing client base.

Responsibilities include administering NetBackup infrastructure, policy creation, and ongoing monitoring across Master/Media/Client servers, with collaboration across infra, storage, and DB teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8750 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in Windows or Linux server environments.
• Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.
• Strong Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Experience with security settings and DISA STIGs.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V or other virtualization platforms.

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customersfrom increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age.

TDI is seeking a Veritas NetBackup Administrator to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population.

This position is onsite 5 days/week in Arlington, VAand requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer and maintain Veritas NetBackup infrastructure (Master Server, Media Servers, and Clients).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup and restore operations.
• Perform backup policy creation, scheduling, retention management, and lifecycle policies.
• Monitor backup job success rates and resolve failed backup issues promptly.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, database, and application teams for backup requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.
• Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of overall related experience with a Windows or Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Experience with application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, or other virtualization platforms.
• Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experienced with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Veritas NetBackup 8.x / 9.x / 10.x.
• Experience with NetBackup Master Server and Media Server administration.
• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, SAP, or other enterprise application backups.
• Linux OS experience.
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts.

PAY RANGE:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $84,000. This range is a good‑faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
