Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a Veritas NetBackup Administrator to support the CESO effort in a secure, highly automated environment in Arlington, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and technical expertise in backup infrastructure.

You will administer NetBackup Master/Media/Clients, implement policies, monitor job outcomes, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with DISA STIGs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 4+ years of Windows or Linux server experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required for this role.
• DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE) preferred.
• Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and security best practices.
• VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms experience.
• Veritas NetBackup administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Veritas NetBackup infrastructure (Master Server, Media Servers, Clients).
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup/restore operations.
• Create, schedule, and manage backup policies and retention rules.
• Monitor backup job success rates and resolve failures.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, database, and app teams for backup needs.
• Maintain backup documentation, SOPs, and compliance reports.
