Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking a Verifications Specialist to process auto retail installment contracts by verifying applicant information and documentation.

You will assess compliance with federal regulations and company policy, resolve missing stipulations, and communicate with internal and external customers and dealerships to answer questions. This role supports a culture of teamwork and integrity across the company.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months office experience or equivalent training.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process contracts by verifying applicant information and documentation.
• Assess compliance on loan documentation for regulations and policy.
• Resolve missing stipulations by communicating with customers.
• Review and verify accuracy of documentation.
• Communicate with potential customers and dealerships to answer questions.

Requirements

• Customer Service: 1 year
• High school or equivalent
• Interpersonal skills promoting a team environment.
• Six (6) months office experience or equivalent education and training.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
