Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Part-Time Venue Security team member in Austin, TX. You will ensure guest safety, inspect for weapons, and enforce venue policies while assisting VIP guests and managing crowd flow.

The role requires English fluency, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility for late hours. Prior live events experience and familiarity with metal detectors are a plus. Dog-friendly offices noted as a perk.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Bi-lingual (preferred).
• Cash handling experience (preferred).
• Experience recognizing valid IDs (preferred).
• Experience in a live music environment (preferred).
• Self-defense training (preferred).
• EMT or other medical background (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards.
• Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
• Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures.
• Monitor venue area and maintain clear aisles and exits.
• Check IDs of guests under 35 years old drinking alcohol.
• Inspect for weapons with metal detectors or pat-downs.
• Enforce policy on photos/videos/recording devices.
• Safeguard against theft and property damage.
• Communicate clearly using radios and signals.
• Assist with VIP tours and guest needs.
• Set up/tear down of facility and yard areas.

There has never been a better time to join Live Nation.**WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO*** Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility* Prevent and resolve altercations among guests* Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance* Maintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shift* Check identification of any guest who appears to be under 35 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venue* Ensure that no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down search* Enforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices* Safeguard against theft and property damage* Communicate clearly using radios, hand signals and flashlights.
