Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a venue security professional to ensure guest safety and orderly operations at events. You will interact with guests to prevent hazards and resolve conflicts, while assisting in evacuations and enforcing venue policies.

The role requires physical stamina, quick decision-making, and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of customer-facing experience, fluency in English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with proper technique.
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Experience recognizing valid IDs.
  • Experience in a live music environment is preferred.
  • Self-defense training.
  • Experience using metal detection equipment.
  • EMT or medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure guest safety through proactive interaction and hazard removal.
  • Prevent and resolve altercations among guests.
  • Lead guests and staff in emergency evacuations and provide assistance.
  • Maintain venue control by circulating through the area.
  • Conduct age verification for alcohol with under-35 patrons.
  • Inspect guests with metal detectors or pat-downs to prevent weapons.
  • Enforce policy on photos/videos/recording devices.
  • Guard against theft and property damage.
  • Communicate clearly using radios and signals; maintain constant contact.
  • Set up and tear down of facility elements.
  • Provide VIP assistance and tours.
  • Keep venue interior/exterior clean and safe; manage spills/
  • Perform other duties as requested.

What This Role Will Do
  • Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibility
  • Prevent and resolve altercations among guests
  • Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance
  • Maintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shift
  • Check identification of any guest who appears to be under 35 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venue
  • Ensure that no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down search
  • Enforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices
  • Safeguard against theft and property damage
  • Communicate clearly using radios, hand signals and flashlights. Remain in constant contact throughout the shift
  • Set up and tear down of facility (yard clean-up, stanchions, table configuring, etc.)
  • VIP assistance with tours and guests.
  • Keep interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles, before, during and after the shift
  • Other duties as requested.
