Chateau Nouvelle seeks a Venue Director to lead the venue’s sales, client relations, and day-to-day operations. The role combines sales leadership with team development to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high-performance outcomes.

Lead the venue’s sales efforts and drive achievement of monthly and annual booking goals.
Monitor lead, tour, conversion, and booking performance.
Coach and develop team members to improve sales performance and conversion rates.
Lead sales meetings, training, and ongoing development.
Identify opportunities for promotions, upsells, and additional revenue.
Step in to conduct tours and support sales activity during high-volume periods.
Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and accountability for the venue team.
Train, coach, and develop Venue Concierges.
Conduct performance reviews and address areas requiring additional training or improvement.
Create a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
Maintain Venue Concierge staff schedules and coordinate staffing needs with other departments.
Recognize team successes and proactively address morale or performance concerns.
Ensure clients receive timely, professional, and high-quality communication throughout their planning journey.
Oversee client planning milestones and ensure important deadlines, payments, documents, and meetings are completed.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or dissatisfied clients.
Work with clients and leadership to resolve concerns and restore client satisfaction when issues arise.
Anticipate potential problems before they affect the client’s experience.
Maintain a high standard of service from the initial tour through the completion of the event.
Maintain awareness of upcoming events and ensure each event is properly prepared for execution.
Confirm important event details, documents, floor plans, vendor requirements, staffing needs, and client requests are completed.
Collaborate with Operations and other departments to ensure teams have the information needed to execute events successfully.
Attend events when necessary to evaluate the client experience and venue standards.
Assist with unusual or complex event requests and situations.
Remain available for escalation in the event of urgent event-related issues.
Ensure the property is consistently tour-ready, client-ready, and presented according to company standards.
Identify maintenance, repair, cleanliness, and facility needs and communicate them to the appropriate department.
Regularly evaluate opportunities to improve the tour and guest experience.
Ensure the venue is properly reset and prepared following events.
Maintain accurate client, booking, event, and sales information across company systems.
Ensure calendars, client files, contracts, invoices, floor plans, vendor documentation, and internal tracking systems remain accurate and organized.
Monitor team compliance with company processes and procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and internal efficiency.
Implement new processes and train team members as procedures evolve.
Support reporting related to bookings, revenue, event performance, and other venue KPIs.
Serve as a primary communication link between the venue team and Operations, Marketing, Bar, Accounting, and other departments.
Communicate upcoming event needs, staffing requirements, facility concerns, promotions, and unique client requests.
Partner with Marketing on lead generation, promotions, open houses, styled shoots, and venue content.
Collaborate with Operations to continuously improve event execution and guest satisfaction.
Participate in networking and initiatives that strengthen the venue’s reputation and business.

Experience in sales and team management.
Experience in the wedding or events industry is highly preferred, with additional value placed on backgrounds in team management and sales experience
Full-time (40-50 hours weekly depending on season)
Salary and Commission (Base range $55K-60K not including bonus opportunities)
