This is an entry-level, professional staff, full-time position in the City’s Fire and Rescue Services Department. An individual in this position will be responsible for fire prevention, suppression and rescue services.
High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate, REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Firefighter from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, and Basic EMT by the Texas Department of State Health Services or National Registry. Please submit certifications with application.

This is based on the successful completion of required course(s) with a passing grade of C or better. The maximum reimbursement is $3000 per Fiscal Year.
