THE JOB

Live Nation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager for Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the venue by performing routine maintenance and repair tasks. The purpose of this position is to supplement the work of our event‑day staff by providing a clean and presentable property prior to and following event days. The schedule is flexible with approximately 30‑35 hours of on‑site work.

What This Role Will Do
  • Perform general upkeep of the venue property
  • Repair, maintain, and monitor equipment and amenities to ensure they are in proper working condition
  • Paint and repair surfaces including walls, doors, railings, and stairs
  • Power wash concrete, asphalt, buildings, and equipment
  • General grounds maintenance to include light landscaping, weed whacking and blowing between grounds services
  • Properly remove and dispose of all waste prior to and after an event
  • Change interior and exterior light bulbs as needed
  • Hang and change out venue signage as needed
  • Assist Venue Management Team with all show and event preparation including the placement, restocking, and removal of supplies, tables, and chairs
  • Receive deliveries as necessary
  • Work with Operations Manager and General Manager to winterize and de‑winterize venue
  • Work with Venue Team to monitor preventative maintenance and warranty programs as necessary
  • Report all incidents and accidents to the General Manager
  • Other related duties to facility maintenance as assigned
What This Person Will Bring
  • Be reliable and adhere to a schedule to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Be responsible with equipment and while performing tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self‑starter with excellent time management skills
  • Basic understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and general laborer duties
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledgeable of and able to follow safety protocols for using equipment including tools, machinery, and ladders
  • Ability to push/lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to bend at the waist, sit, kneel, climb, walk, and crouch as the job may require
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and high noise levels requiring hearing protection
  • Ability to work around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, and paint
  • 2‑3 years of previous experience in facilities maintenance, handyman work, groundskeeping, or a similarly related vocational field
  • Experience and certification in operating heavy machinery is preferred
Physical Demands/Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, walk various distances on both paved and uneven terrain; climb and descend stairs; use hands and fingers; reach, pull, push, and twist with hands and arms; bend, twist, crouch, or kneel; and talk or hear. The employee may be needed to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more with proper lifting techniques. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, far vision, and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold weather, wind, dust or dirt, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
