Job summary

Career Launch seeks a Venture Advisor to assess venture readiness and connect founders with the right opportunities in Denver. This is a salaried remote independent contractor role focused on trusted relationships and qualified introductions.

You will build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and advisors; evaluate fit against qualification criteria; and ensure permissioned, context-rich introductions while maintaining records and protecting sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Established relationships in the Denver startup ecosystem.
• Experience as founder, operator, investor, advisor, accelerator leader, consultant, recruiter, or partnerships.
• Strong judgment about founder fit, timing, confidentiality, and consent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior professionals.
• Reliable follow-through and ability to manage a relationship pipeline independently.
• Ability to disclose conflicts and protect sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, and startup advisors in Denver.
• Identify founders whose companies fit current qualification criteria.
• Hold initial conversations to understand company, stage, goals, and needs.
• Obtain permission before introductions or sharing contact info.
• Provide concise, accurate context for the internal team.
• Maintain timely records of outreach, introductions, status, and follow-up.
• Represent the organization accurately without promising funding or outcomes.
