Job summary

A pioneering early-stage venture capital firm is seeking exceptional investors and founders to join their mission of democratizing venture capital and accelerating regional innovation. You will collaborate with General Partners to implement venture growth strategies and raise capital from Limited Partners. Ideal candidates will have a strong network, proven capital raising experience, and a passion for mentoring future business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with General Partners to craft and implement a tailored venture growth strategy.
• Identify, engage, and secure commitments from Limited Partners aiming to raise $5 million.
• Evaluate and facilitate access to public and non-profit matching funds.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-potential local founders for investment consideration.
• Support portfolio companies in scaling their operations.
• Serve as the primary ambassador for EWV within the local venture ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the General Partners to craft and implement a tailored venture growth strategy for your ecosystem.
• Identify, engage, and secure commitments from Limited Partners, including family offices, fund of funds, and institutional investors, aiming to raise $5 million in direct investments.
• Evaluate and facilitate access to public and non-profit matching funds and non-dilutive capital sources.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-potential local founders and innovators for investment consideration.
• Support portfolio companies in scaling their operations, including customer acquisition and market expansion.
• Serve as the primary ambassador and representative of EWV within your local venture ecosystem.
