Connecticut Innovations is seeking a motivated intern for its Technology Venture Team in New Haven. The role offers hands-on venture capital experience within FinTech, InsurTech, SaaS and engineering sectors, contributing to due diligence, market research, and portfolio support.

Ideal candidates are MBA students or undergraduates in finance, business, CS or engineering, based in CT and able to work in a hybrid mode.

Qualifikationen

• MBA or bachelor’s student in finance, business, CS, engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in venture capital and early-stage innovation.
• Based in or studying in Connecticut and eligible for hybrid work in New Haven.

Aufgaben

• Collect and analyze portfolio data, industries, markets and competitors.
• Support investment monitoring, financial analysis and market research.
• Assist with due diligence, including business plan assessment and company evaluations.
• Build financial models and prepare presentations for CI Investment Committee.
• Contribute to lead generation, sourcing and business development activities.
