Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities across Consumer and Consumer Tech
• Conduct market, industry, company, and competitive research
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, operators, and other members of the venture ecosystem
• Perform detailed financial, market, and investment analyses
• Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases
• Lead and support due diligence across commercial, financial, operational, and strategic areas
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and detailed investment memoranda
• Participate in term sheet negotiations and transaction execution
• Work closely with portfolio companies following investment, supporting strategic initiatives and ongoing performance analysis
• Monitor existing investments and contribute to portfolio reviews
• Assist with follow-on financing, strategic transactions, and exit processes
• Develop differentiated perspectives on emerging consumer and technology trends

Job description

A leading investment firm is looking to add a Venture Capital Associate to its growing team in West Palm Beach. The firm invests across Consumer and Consumer Technology, partnering with innovative businesses from early stages through growth.

This is a highly hands-on investment role offering exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities through diligence, execution, portfolio management, and eventual exit.

The Associate will work closely with senior members of the investment team across a broad range of responsibilities, including:
