Job summary

Referment is seeking an Entrepreneur in Residence for a six-month, full-time programme in New York. The role focuses on identifying and shaping opportunities in fintech, insurtech, and data analytics within an established investment and technology firm’s venture studio.

You’ll originate ideas, conduct disciplined research, and help build ventures with potential to progress to firm-backed projects, taking a leading role in execution and team-building across technology, investing, and business

Qualifications

• Proven ability to generate, research and lead new ventures.
• Domain knowledge in fintech, insurtech or data analytics.
• Strong critical thinking, commercial analysis and execution skills.
• Excellent communication, team-building and collaborative working ability.

Responsibilities

• Propose new business ideas grounded in meaningful market or customer problems.
• Research commercial potential, competitive context, delivery requirements and key risks.
• Prepare clear venture plans that allow ideas to be assessed and prioritised.
• Lead the execution of concepts selected for further development.
• Build effective teams and collaborate with specialists across technology, investing and business functions.
