Job summary

Avera Health in Marshall, MN is hiring for a Home Medical Equipment Nurse/Technician role. You will direct planning of home medical equipment needs, perform patient assessments, and coordinate care with the patient’s care team during home visits.

The position requires RN or Respiratory Therapist licensing, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work primarily days with on-call nights, weekends, and holidays. PTO, retirement contributions, and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years related experience required.
• Valid driver's license and insurable by company carrier.
• RN license in state of practice required.
• Respiratory Therapist license or NBRC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan equipment needs for patients and conduct home assessments.
• Provide direct patient care including assessments and airway management.
• Monitor ventilator and PAP therapy, adjust per provider guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and inventory control.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning, and safety checks.
• Perform home visits to ensure proper use and safety.
